reading up on goals

At the beginning of the year, I set a reading goal for myself, mostly for fun. I was going to read 50 books in 2013 because, well, I know I can do it, but I haven't done it since I finished up my masters degree.

I'm doing pretty good so far -- I've read 28 books so far, on top of some rereads. (Tragic underemployment's good for something at least.)

But since consolidating all of my books in one place instead of scattered between several houses/cars/boxes, I've decided that I should've made my reading goal a bit more specific:

Read all the books that I've bought since 2010 and not read and/or finished yet.

This wouldn't quite bring me to 50 books, but it would be a fair accomplishment anyway:

The Mai and Portia Coughlan, Marina Carr

The Third Policeman, Flann O'Brien

Oscar Wilde, Richard Ellmann

Plays 2, Tom Murphy

Bondagers & The Straw Chair, Sue Glover

Speaking Like Magpies, Frank McGuinness

The Better Mousetrap, Tom Holt

Shades of Grey, Jasper Fforde

December Bride, Sam Hanna Bell

The Leavetaking, John McGahern

The Burning, Stewart Conn

Plays 2, Stewart Parker

The Secret Life of Oscar Wilde, Neil McKenna

Over the Bridge and Other Plays, Sam Thompson

Modern Ireland: 1600-1972, R F Foster

Selected Plays, Hugh Leonard

Made in America, Bill Bryson

If I read all those, it wouldn't quite get me to 50 for the year, but it would get me pretty close. So should I add a bonus reading challenge for myself? Hmm.
